"Keep training when you can"I am back to cycling and running (and soon swimming) after taking a long break from it. I have been pretty busy with family matters and thought a little time off would be okay. I eventually got to the place where I realized that exercise is a pretty important part of my life and I shouldn't let that slide, even if the rest of life has me busy. In fact, I think exercise is an important way for me to keep on top of all those other things, so I am back at it.
Next time life throws me a curve, I will have to remember that while some short breaks are okay, one shouldn't get too far off from their usual lifestyle, especially when it is a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
One of the best parts about going on vacation is returning home, welcome back!
